Welcome to our Family!

USH has been connecting hosts with international students since 1998. We act as liaisons between hosts and students, matching international students with host families based on each person's application, needs, and availability. Hosting students is simple and easy! It is a very flexible program--you can choose to accept students only when you are available. It is a great opportunity for anyone who is interested in making new friends, engaging in cultural exchange, and meeting new people. We work with over 80 colleges and universities throughout Southern & Northern California, Arizona and Florida.

The average age of our students is between 18-25 years old; our clients are at least 18 years of age; generally our students are Asian, European, and South American; and the average length of a student's stay is about 3 months, with a minimum of a 4-week stay, depending on which school they attend.
